Yesterday morning, I sat at my computer and watched as Kickstarter counted down the last few seconds of the campaign. When the timer hit zero, the browser window filled with bursts of confetti and the screen refreshed to confirm that Tiny Dracula #1 had not only reached it’s funding goal, it had smashed it.

- $3,201 raised.
- 134 amazing backers.
When I launched this campaign a month ago, I’d worried I’d set my funding goal too high — that the Kickstarter would fail and all the hard work I’d put into writing and drawing Tiny Dracula, into building and marketing this campaign, would be for nothing.
You all proved me wrong. And I cannot put into words how much it has meant to me.
This will be my first ever published comic book. But it will definitely not be my last. Knowing that there’s an audience out there interested in buying and reading my comics has been transformational. Thank you all so very much for helping me dream this project into existence.
